The subject aims to equip the students with the skills and knowledge to:
- analyse key elements that contribute to the entire user experience, including aspects of user/consumer psychology and behaviour.
- articulate design problems in the context of the user journey, by addressing all dimensions of user and operational/business needs.
- translate findings in the key elements of service design into feasible interior design solutions that are visually communicated using service design tools.
- apply service design tools by mapping experiences in the context of the entire consumer journey while incorporating change management strategies to deliver the service.
- apply appropriate measuring strategies to obtain and evaluate the results of the designed consumer experience.

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be issued the Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Specialist Diploma in Interior Design Practice.
