There are many options for graduates looking to further their education in Singapore or overseas.  There are altogether 6 Autonomous Universities in Singapore at present.  To get started, you can visit the universities’ websites to explore the different courses that you can pursue and the advanced standing granted by the various universities.

You may also consider deepening your knowledge by taking up Specialist Diploma and Advanced Diploma programmes. Work and Study programmes  are also an option.

For students who wish to consider private education, do consider the 3Rs, and check that the institution and course is registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE) beforehand

Alternatively, you may want to consider is to work and defer your further education. Some students find work experience useful in their studies later. For one, you are likely to be more matured and disciplined. Also, with real work experience and insights, you may find it easier to grasp the related classroom teaching.

  Centre for TransCultural Studies offers the Transnational Studies cross-disciplinary subject, where you can get a better understanding of other cultures and acquire skills and knowledge targeted at preparing you for life in the globalised workplace.

  Keep abreast of current affairs around the world. Keeping track of those issues that interest you and how you want to be involved in can help you to decide where to work and live.

Yes, you may. The Polytechnic will reserve a place for successful male applicants who are unable to obtain approval to defer or be disrupted from their Singapore full-time National Service (NS) to join the current intake. Reservation of a place is only applicable to male Singaporeans and Singapore PRs who are required to serve NS and are admitted to a polytechnic course for the first time.

Holders of international qualifications may apply through the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE-Foreign Qualifications). Information pertaining to accommodation, programmes and part-time employment is available here.

1 intake (course commences in April).

Applicants are allowed to combine their GCE 'O' level results of up to two sittings (e.g. 2015 and 2017) when seeking admission to the Polytechnic.

For your top few choices for JAE, you may wish to select those TP courses that you are passionate about and for which your net ELR2B2 aggregate score is less than or equal to the previous year’s highest aggregate score of the course or not too far above the highest score.

To maximise the likelihood of being posted to a course of your JAE choices, you should ensure that, for some of your selected courses, your net ELR2B2 aggregate score falls below the previous year’s highest aggregate scores of those courses.

Students who have completed Year 4 of the Integrated Programme (IP) in Singapore may apply through the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE-Local).

Students who have completed Year 6 of the Integrated Programme (IP) in Singapore and have obtained an IB Diploma may apply through the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE-Local). Students with IB Diploma may also apply for selected diploma courses which allow them to complete the course in 2 or 2.5 years, provided they meet the entry requirements.

Please note that as per MOE’s guideline, for awardees with scholarships that specifically indicated tuition fees coverage, TTFS/SkillsFuture Credit/ PSEA/CPF/MOE TFL utilisations are not allowed if the amount awarded are adequate to cover the students’ tuition fees.

Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) can be used to settle both Tuition Fee and Other Fees but CPF Education Loan Scheme, Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy (TTFS) for Malays (Mendaki), MOE Tuition Fee Loan Scheme and SkillsFuture Credit cover only Tuition Fee.

Other Fees are to be paid by using your own funds or PSEA.

Yes, you can apply for more than one Financial Schemes if you are eligible.

Subsidised students, who are Eligible and Apply for TG, are eligible to apply for Financial Schemes.

Important Note:

Full fee paying SC/SPR, (i.e. who are not eligible for TG, choose not to apply for TG or taking a full time diploma course that TG is not applicable), are allowed to apply for MOE TFL up to 75% of subsidised rate and utilise PSEA to pay for full outstanding fees subject to availability of funds in PSEA.

You would be informed of the outcome of your financial scheme application(s) directly by the respective FS Organisations.

1. For application form properly completed, the Polytechnic will submit them to the Financial Scheme Organisations for processing.
2. If you are requested by the Polytechnic to re-submit the form due to any reason, you must re-submit the application form to the Polytechnic by the deadline stated in the Student Financial Application Form Follow Up Letter/Email. Else, it will be deemed that you are no longer interested in applying for that Financial Scheme. To ensure you receive the follow up letter, please update your latest local address when doing online enrolment.
3. Incomplete submission of required documents will result in your application being rejected by the Financial Scheme Organisation administering the Financial Scheme.
4. Late re-submission of application form to the Polytechnic will delay the processing of your application by the Financial Scheme Organisations.
5. You have to give prompt response to queries on your application by the Polytechnic or Financial Scheme Organisation. If you do not do so, your application may not be processed and approved by FS organisation timely for fee payment before fee due date.

You are required to settle your fees by using your own funds first. The Polytechnic will refund you after receipt of the fund from the Financial Scheme Organisation if your application is approved subsequently.

You may want to explore the possibility of using another available Financial Scheme that you are eligible to apply and the application period is still open. Otherwise, you will have to use your own funds to pay the fees.

1. Yes, it is compulsory for all full time diploma Singapore Citizen (SC) students/ Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) or International Student (IS) who wish to apply for TG to complete the TG submission.
   
   Please refer to question “How do I submit the TG form if I wish to apply for TG?” on online form submission.
   
   

2. For International Student (IS), if you do not submit the TG forms by 14 October 2024, it is deemed that you decided not to apply for TG.

   Please note:
   If you decide to apply for TG:
   > You must submit an on-line application for TG scheme at the MOE’s website;
   > You must complete the execution of the TG Agreement with MOE by the stipulated deadline before you are granted TG; and in the TG Agreement, you will be required to work for a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation.
   > SPR and International students who are awarded TG and withdraw from their course without graduating are liable for Liquidated Damages for the TG received for their course of study. Students are strongly advised to consider the implications, especially financial implications, before early withdrawal from their course.

1. Singapore Citizen (SC) student must submit the Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form to be granted TG, subject to the criteria of TG eligibility.
   
   
2. Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) student who wish to apply for TG must submit the Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form, subject to the criteria of TG eligibility.
   
   For Singapore Citizen (SC) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) student, please login using your Singpass to submit your Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form and follow the instructions on the form.
   
   
3. International Student (IS) who wish to apply for TG must submit the Tuition Grant Option form, subject to the criteria of TG eligibility.

Yes, an email will be sent to your TP student email account to inform you of the scheduled dates for online TG application and execution of TG Agreement.

It is important to check your TP student email account frequently so that you do not miss any important email from the Polytechnic.

If you do not apply online or complete the execution of TG Agreement by the stipulated deadline given by MOE, it shall be deemed that you have decided not to apply TG and you will be charged non-subsidised fees for your course of study at the Polytechnic.
