Course Enrolment

Successful applicants of the JAE/JAE Appeal can expect to receive your e-Enrolment package(s) by end of February. 

 

Successful applicants of the DAE will receive your e-Enrolment package within 1 week from the date of release of application outcome.

 

If you do not receive the e-Enrolment package, please email admissions@tp.edu.sg or contact us at 6780 4201 (admissions hotline) immediately, stating your full name, date of birth, NRIC and course offered.

 

The e-Enrolment Package contains important information to assist you in the completion of your enrolment. It also provides you with essential information to orientate you as a student of Temasek Polytechnic. Do take the time to read all the information provided.

Note for National Service-liable personnel:

 

  • If you are not granted NS deferment/disruption, do not proceed with the online enrolment.
  • Proceed to email us at admissions@tp.edu.sg for reservation of course with supporting documents from Central Manpower Base (CMPB) or the respective Unit stating the ORD/Enlistment date.
  • For information on NS deferment/disruption, proceed to NS Portal (www.ns.gov.sg) or contact NS Call Centre at 1800-3676767. 

Enrol Online

To enrol, please sign up for an user account and log on to the Online Applicant Portal to confirm acceptance of the course.

 

What you need:

 

  • Email address
  • NRIC / Passport Number
  • Enrolment Key (refer to your Enrolment Notice)
  • Parent's/Guardian's Particulars
  • A copy of Result Slip/Transcript

Steps:

 

  1. Log on to Online Applicant Portal with the account you have signed up or Singpass.
  2. Click on 'Course Enrolment (Accept or Reject Offer)'.
  3. Enter Enrolment Key (Refer to your enrolment notice).
  4. Click 'Accept' or 'Reject' and complete the pages through the portal
  5. Download the Enrolment Record and print a copy of the Medical Reports.
  • Medical Report: Self Declaration Form (Part 1) and Medical Report: Doctor’s Certification (Part 2) 
    (except Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education students and students completed Polytechnic Foundation Programme)

Undergo Medical Examination 

(except students who have completed Polytechnic Foundation Programme) 

 

  1. You must have your medical examination done by Singapore registered medical practitioner. Please refer to the website for a list of these practitioners http://www.singhealth.com.sg/patient-care. (Please note that all Polyclinics do not provide enrolment medical check-up.)
  2. Bring along the Medical Report forms to the clinic: 

      Students joining the full-time Diplomas
    (except Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education)
    Students joining Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education

    a.

    Medical Form: Student Self-Declaration Form (Part 1) NIEC Medical Declaration (Part 1)

    b.

    Medical Form: Doctor’s Certification (Part 2) for the doctor to fill in NIEC Medical Report (Part 2)  for the doctor to fill in

    c.

    Chest X-ray report is not required  Required Chest X-ray report

    d.

    Application for Exemption from Sports & Wellness (if required)

     

  3. Check that your medical report is completed and endorsed by the doctor before you leave the clinic.
  4. For international students, do bring along the ICA Medical Report Form downloaded from ICA website.
  5. Collect the medical report from the clinic within 3-5 working days.
  6. If you have been certified to be unfit due to the following medical conditions (PDF: 92KB), approach our Admissions staff at Student Services for advice.

 

Note:

 

  • If your medical reports require more than 5 working days for collection, please inform us & upload the report later. Do not hold back on the submission of the other documents.
  • If you have been transferred to Temasek Polytechnic from another polytechnic, you are not required to do another medical examination. Indicate the polytechnic you have submitted the reports by emailing us at admissions@tp.edu.sg and we will follow-up with that polytechnic.
  • The costs incurred for your medical examination will be fully borne by you.

  1. Compulsory Forms / Applications 

    1. Tuition Grant Eligibility Declaration / Option Form (For Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident Student)

      Please log in using your SingPass to submit Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form.

    2. Tuition Grant Option Form (For International Student)

      Please download Tuition Grant Option form and submit scan copy of the duly completed and signed form here.

    3. Application for Interbank GIRO

      POSB/DBS account holders may set up GIRO arrangement online by logging in to DBS/POSB iBanking.

      Non-POSB/DBS account holders may download “Application for Interbank GIRO” Form for submission.  You may submit the duly completed and signed form by mail to “Temasek Polytechnic, Student Finance & Collection, 21 Tampines Ave 1 Singapore 529757”, or deposit to  “Finance” drop box outside Student Services.


  2. Optional Forms / Applications (if you wish to apply for Financial Schemes to pay fees)

    1. Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy (TTFS) for Malay Students

      Please submit online application at Yayasan MENDAKI website https://www.mendaki.org.sg/ during the online application period.

    2. Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)

      Please refer to Checklist B - Summary of Financial Related / Scheme Application for application details.

    3. CPF Approved Education Loan Scheme

      Please submit online application at CPF Board’s website https://www.cpf.gov.sg/Members/ during the online application period. SingPass is required for this application.

    4. Tuition Fee Loan (TFL)

      You are to complete the TFL Application Form and together with your guarantor, go to any DBS Bank (not POSB) branches to get it endorsed by the bank. After the bank’s endorsement, make a photocopy of your Tuition Fee Loan Application Form showing the bank’s endorsement and retain this copy for your future reference.

    5. SkillsFuture Credit

      Students who are Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credit to pay for course fees of full-time diploma courses.  For more information on the SkillsFuture Credit, you may wish to visit the following website: www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg.

    • *A passport-sized photograph that will be used to print your student card and send it to TransitLink for processing your concession card.
    • A copy of your TP Medical Forms with doctor’s endorsement OR
    • NIEC Medical Form (applicable to students joining Diploma in Early Childhood & Development Education).
    • Parent/Guardian’s Consent & Acknowledgement Form

  2. For International Student

    • *A passport-sized photograph that will be used to print your student card and send it to TransitLink for processing your concession card.
    • A copy of your TP Medical Forms with doctor’s endorsement OR
    • NIEC Medical Form (applicable to students joining Diploma in Early Childhood & Development Education).

     *The photograph:

 

  • should be taken against a white background;
  • must be taken within the last 3 months;
  • must be 35 mm wide by 45 mm high without a border;
  • must be clear, sharp focus and not pixelated;
  • must be taken full face without headgear, unless the student is habitually worn in accordance with religious or racial custom. The headgear or hair must not hide the student’s facial features;
  • presents the full head from top of hair to bottom of chin and centre the head within the frame.
  • subsequent changes of the photograph will not be entertained.

Student Group Personal Accident (GPA) Insurance

Group Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance (GHSI)

 

As hospitalisation expenses can be costly, TP has arranged for a Group Hospitalisation and Surgical Insurance (GHSI) policy for all full-time international students. The policy covers hospitalisation expenses due to illness and/or accidental injuries except the list of exclusions as stated by insurer. The premium may range from $30 to $40 per annum (subject review and change without prior notice). The premium is part of the total fees payable at start of each Academic Year. 
The GHSI covers treatment at a Singapore Government Restructured Hospital and/or Specialist Outpatient Clinic. Please note that treatment at PRIVATE Hospitals will not be covered. You may seek treatment in the following hospitals.
