ITE students and graduates may apply for admission through the following admission exercises:
Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) for ITE Students:
EAE for ITE students is open to graduating final-year Nitec and Higher Nitec students from the Institute of Technical Education. Successful applicants under the EAE will be given conditional offers before their final Grade Point Average (GPA) for Nitec or Higher Nitec are released.
Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE):
The Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE) is conducted jointly by the five Polytechnics. The exercise allows applicants to submit application for admission to full-time courses offered by the five polytechnics.
Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE):
The Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE) allows applicants who are NOT eligible to participate in the EAE and JPAE to apply for the TP course of their interest.
To be eligible for consideration for admission, applicants must have the minimum GPA (inclusive of CCA bonus points) and the relevant ITE certificate applicable to the full-time diploma courses that they are applying for. Admission is based on merit and subject to availability of vacancies.
Please access the following pages for the relevant certificates awarded by ITE that are recognised for admission to the full-time diploma courses.
Applicants seeking admission are required to fulfil the medical requirements (PDF: 92KB) for respective courses.
Applicants who are active in their ITE's Co-curricular Activities (CCA) may gain up to 0.2 CCA bonus points. The CCA bonus points can be used to improve their GPA ranking for admission consideration.
