Course Overview
The aim of this subject is to equip students with the skills, methods and techniques used in decision-making models.
This subject provides an introduction to the decision-making process and the models used in solving various decision problems. The methods and techniques for decision making covered are linear programming (LP), transportation model, network models and decision trees.
Entry Requirements
Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Engineering (Operations & Systems Management).
