Course Overview

This program aims to introduce participants to:
 

  1. Major risks faced by modern corporations;
  2. Risk management principles that can be adopted to manage their exposures;
  3. Salient features of a functional risk management framework.

Who Should Attend

Individuals or professionals who are interested to acquire tools and principles of sound business, operational and financial risk management.

What You'll Learn

This MLC will take the Edutainment format with some videos and eternal articles. One part of the course will introduce you to the risk management framework, concepts and lingo. Another part of the course will require you to look through risk failure case studies and apply your insights on how the risk events materialize and can be managed.

 

 

Mode of Assessment

 

Quizzes and activities – measure participants’ understanding of key concepts and application of concepts learnt for each topic.

Participants will receive an electronic Certificate of Completion issued by Temasek Polytechnic upon completion of each MLC.
