Course Overview

E-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Amazon have made it incredibly easy and convenient for us to shop online. With more consumers turning to e-commerce for all their needs, there is an increasing demand for logistics professionals in the industry. Companies are also investing more in data analytics, automation and robotics solutions to stay competitive. If you aspire to venture into the logistics sector, this course will prepare you with the knowledge and skills for it.

 

You will gain essential skills in inventory management and cross-docking, enabling you to streamline processes and improve productivity. Our curriculum emphasises effective documentation and administration practices, ensuring that you can navigate the complexities of logistics with confidence.

What You'll Learn

To be awarded the Diploma, participants are required to complete a total of 5 Modular Certificates (MCs). A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of each MC.

This subject provides an overview of the role of Distribution Centre (DC) in the supply chain, the various activities performed within a DC and the significance of these activities on customer service and total logistics costs.

It focuses on the major resources to be applied in a DC and explains how they interact with one another in contributing to the DC’s effectiveness and efficiency. It will also cover the significance of providing DC services to the Third-Party Logistics industry.

This subject covers the key business and operational processes within an enterprise.  The use of an ERP system will be used to illustrate how enterprise system integrate information and work flow across a company's various business functions.

The subject provides an overview of the relations between supply chain management and logistics management, and their impact on the success of organisations. It focuses on the major functional components in a supply chain and explains how they interact with one another in contributing to the success of a business organisation. The application of technology will also be emphasised, as technology is a key driver of business operations in the supply chain.
