Throughout this course, learners will gain specialized knowledge and practical skills for supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in educational settings, emphasizing structured teaching and effective behavioural management. Participants learn to create inclusive environments, regulate arousal levels, manage behaviours, and understand neurocognitive theories related to ASD. It also covers family-centric planning, community integration, and collaboration with stakeholders to help individuals with ASD achieve their life goals.
Do note that work-based learning sessions will be conducted at Rainbow Centre.
