This workshop is designed for professionals preparing for the Paper B assessment to become IHRP-Certified Professionals (Institute For Human Resource Professionals-CP). Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of key functional and foundational competencies, learn how to apply them through various perspectives, and develop the skills to tackle assessment-level scenarios with confidence.

Her extensive background spans technology, luxury retail, publishing, chemicals, hospitality, transportation, and FMCG, providing her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these sectors. This experience forms the foundation of her current work as a coach, trainer, and facilitator.

A strategic partner to regional leadership throughout her corporate career, Janice built high-performing teams, fostered inclusive cultures, and aligned HR strategies with business objectives. Her expertise in enhancing employee engagement and retention, coupled with her empathetic communication and problem-solving skills, provides her with invaluable insights into workplace dynamics, which she now leverages to empower individuals and teams.

Ms Jacqueline Choy
SHRM-SCP, IHRP-SP, PGDip (HR & Org Psy)

Jacqueline is a HR Practitioner with more than 13 years of generalist experience in the full cycle of employee management, both locally and regionally in Asia. She works closely with the senior leadership at management level to review, provide direction and drive organization’s policies and practices that influence and impact employees’ engagement, talent management and business continuity. She has worked in various industries from Tourism, Meetings & Events, Association Management, Cloud Technology Sales, Luxury Wines & Spirits, Legal and Professional Services.

She is also an Associate Faculty with Singapore Institute of Technology, teaching HR Management Modules in the School of Hospitality.

Jacqueline has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource & Organisational Psychology from SHRI Academy and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Resource Management from Curtin University of Technology, Singapore. She is also a certified IHRP-SP and SHRM-SCP and is part of the SHRM Training Team in South-East Asia, facilitating workshops related to Strategic Workforce Planning and HR Business Partnering.
