Course Overview
The Sustainable Finance course introduces participants to an overview of sustainable finance and the current spectrum of sustainable finance products. Participants will learn about Singapore's Green Finance Action Plan and the various sustainable bond and loan frameworks, and how to identify greenwashing in these products.
Entry Requirements
Participants are advised to have some pre-existing knowledge of sustainability. We recommend that participants attend the Foundations of Sustainability - Opportunities and Risk course prior to attending this course.
- Introduction to sustainable finance
- Gain an understanding of the range of sustainable finance products currently available
- Understand the ICMA Green and Sustainable Bond Principles and the LMA Green and Sustainable Loan Principles
- Understand the proposed sustainable finance roadmap for Singapore
- Learn how to identify greenwashing in sustainable finance products
Certification
Participants who meet at least 75% of the required course attendance and attempt the assessment will be awarded the Certificate of Performance.
