Securing a Better Future for Security Personnel

The Security Progressive Wage Model (PWM) introduces a 5-level career ladder for security officers – new entrants will start their career as a Security Officer (SO) and can progress to become a Chief Security Officer (CSO). Each level is defined by training requirements, years of experience, specific job scopes and a minimum basic salary.

This structured model allows security officers to look forward to career progression that comes with a better salary. This industrywide model also allows security officers to take charge of their own career regardless of their current deployment.

To remain competitive and enjoy a higher salary in the security industry, you are encouraged to upgrade your current skill sets to enhance your productivity and move up the salary scale.

If you are keen to be a security officer, please apply for and obtain a security officer licence from the Singapore Police Force before submitting online application for courses at TP-SII.
