Course Overview

This course introduces you to the roles and responsibilities of a fire safety manager (FSM) for both commercial buildings and industrial premises. You will learn the procedures adopted in running a fire command centre; the use of detection, protection and control systems; fire investigation as well as the formulation of an Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

Entry Requirements

NOTE: For entry into the FSM Course, an applicant MUST have any one of the following qualifications before he/she can be accepted into the course:

For any other qualifications/ any other related working experience, please submit the following information to scdf_cda@scdf.gov.sg to obtain SCDF's approval to attend the Fire Safety Manager Course:

  1. Academic certificates and transcripts as per entry requirements
  2. SCDF's email approval (additional document for applicants who do not fulfil the entry requirements)

Certification
