Course Overview

This course introduces you to the roles and responsibilities of a fire safety manager (FSM) for both commercial buildings and industrial premises. You will learn the procedures adopted in running a fire command centre; the use of detection, protection and control systems; fire investigation as well as the formulation of an Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

Lecturer/Trainer Profile

Mr Eric Lim

Mr Eric Lim Kian Kok graduated with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical Engineering) from NUS. He is a Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Eric also holds a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), bizSAFE Level 2 & 4 certifications and has been actively involved in teaching fire safety and protection related subjects since 2010. He is also a member of the Fire Safety Manager Association Singapore (FSMAS).
